Mail/FTP users which cannot be created in cPanel

For security reasons, the creation of the following email/FTP users is not allowed in cPanel:

  • shadow
  • quota
  • passwd

Apart from them blacklisted names you can create a email account or ftp account with any name you want eg:

contactme@mydomain.com
