PHPMyAdmin Error #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server

This is a known cPanel bug if you are accessing the cPanel using the cPanel proxy (eg http://cpanel.yourdomain.com).

Please use http://yourdomain.com:2082 (replacing youromain.com with your actual domain name ! ) to access cPanel to remove this error

Note : If you are using a firewall then you need to ensure that tcp port 2082 and 2096 are open in both directions (in and out ! ) .
